Inside Sales Representative

Position Description
We are looking for a talented and competitive Inside Sales Representative who can thrive in a technical sales environment.  The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, then documenting and following up on those calls. Your primary role is to generate high quality leads and to assist in their conversion through the execution of our orchestrated sales processes.

Responsibilities

  • Source new sales opportunities through outbound cold calls, emails, mailing pieces and by other means using defined sales processes
  • Understand customer needs and requirements
  • Set appointments that are qualified and are consistent with our Strategic Objective
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executive for further development and closure
  • Achieve daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly quotas for number of calls, appointments set and more
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
  • Maintain and expand our database of prospects within your assigned territory
  • Attend seminars, conferences, and/or trade shows as needed
  • Consistently and correctly promote the itWORKS! brand wherever and whenever possible

Requirements

  • Proven inside sales experience
  • Track record of over-achieving quota
  • Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
  • Experience working with a CRM
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Technical background is not necessary
